1 can (1 lb. 5 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 can (1 lb. 5 oz.) cherry or strawberry pie filling
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan well. Dump crushed pineapple over entire bottom. Dump filling over that. Dump entire cake mix evenly over these. Slice butter in cubes and place on top. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
