Use smoked turkey wings or legs; cover with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer until almost tender. Add 1 chopped onion and thoroughly washed kale (cut up into bite-size pieces). Add a pinch of baking soda. It will make the kale tender. The less water you use, the better it will taste. For seasonings, you can use seasoned salt, soul food seasoning, or Goya Adobo all-purpose seasoning. Season to taste. Good eating! |
