KALE SOUP | |
1 can Progresso cannelini beans 2 lb. fresh kale 3 lb. chourice 1 med. onion 6 potatoes 4 qt. cold water 2 lb. short ribs or shank 1 sm. cabbage Cut up chourice in 1 1/2 inch pieces and put in pot with water. Pick over kale and cabbage. Wash well. Add to pot. Let boil about 20 minutes, then add potatoes and onion. Cook 2 hours. Then add progresso cannelini beans. Serves 6. |
