LAYERED SALAD | |
1 lb. fresh spinach, pre-washed 5 hard boiled eggs, coarse 1 head iceberg lettuce, pieces 3/4 lb. cooked crumbled bacon 2 (10 oz.) boxes Birds Eye frozen tiny peas, thaw but do not cook 3 bunches chopped scallions DRESSING: 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise + 1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip 1 tbsp. sugar and milk to make mixture pourable 3/4 tbsp. finely grated cheese (Swiss) for topping Layer spinach, eggs, lettuce, bacon, peas, scallions. Pour the dressing mixture over the salad and top with grated cheese. Keeping the vegetables very dry you may make this salad in advance except do not put the dressing or cheese on early. |
