BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 yellow/white cake mix
16 oz. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
3 med. bananas
1 lg. can pineapple, drained dry
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
Chopped pecans
Maraschino cherries

Cook choice of cake in 12 x 9 inch pan. Cream cheese and sugar well; spread over cake. Slice bananas over cake, then spread pineapple, Cool Whip and decorate with halved maraschino cherries. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. As thick or as sparing as you like.
