LATTICE-TOP CHICKEN BAKE | |
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup 3/4 c. milk 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt 2 c. chopped cooked chicken 1 pkg. (1 lb.) frozen broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, thawed and well drained 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 can (2.8 oz.) Durkee French Fried Onions 1 c. biscuit mix 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/4 c. milk Combine soup, milk, salt, chicken, vegetables, cheese and 1/2 can French fried onions. Spread mixture into a greased 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile combine biscuit mix, egg and milk to form a soft dough. Spoon over hot chicken mixture to form a lattice design. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden. Top lattice with remaining onions and bake 3 to 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
