OLD FASHIONED SWEET PICKLED
PEACHES
 
5 lb. peaches, halved
3 lb. sugar
1 (8 oz.) bottle vinegar
2 tbsp. cloves, whole

In a pot, put in sugar and vinegar. Mix well. Add cloves and peaches. Cook until you can stick a toothpick through the peaches easily. Put peaches in sterilized jars. Pour hot syrup over them and seal.
