REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
12-15 (6 inch) cucumbers
3 onions

SAUCE:

4 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. pickling salt
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed

Wash and sterilize 3 wide mouth quart jars. Slice washed cucumbers and onions. Pack well into jars. Mix sugar, vinegar, and spices together; do not heat. Stir syrup well and pour over cucumbers; cover. Refrigerate at least 5 days before using.
