2 eggs 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 5 tbsp. water (approx.) 1 tbsp. oil Beat eggs until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients. Stir with wooden spoon until ingredients are combined into a ball. Turn out on a board sprinkled with flour. Knead until dough is well blended and pliable, about 5 minutes. Form dough into ball. Wrap in a dampened towel and set aside for 30 minutes. Roll part of the dough at a time. Cut in circles or 3" squares. Place about 1 teaspoon filling on each circle. Fold in half and seal edges with fork. Fillings to be used, either mashed potatoes (about 3) or well cooked, mashed prunes which are sweetened. Put into large kettle of boiling water. Boil about 15 minutes. Drain well. Then add about one and half cubes of butter and one pint of cottage cheese. |
