PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
CAKE:

1 box Duncan Hines cake mix
3 eggs
1 1/3 c. water
1/3 c. Crisco oil

FILLING:

2 lg. boxes instant vanilla pudding
6 c. milk
2 lg. cartons whipped topping
1 gal. fresh strawberries or 4 lg. packages frozen strawberries

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake and bake as directed on box. Let cool. Slice each layer in half making 4 layers. Mix pudding as directed on box. In punch bowl alternate layers 4 times. Layer cake; Layer strawberries; layer pudding; layer whipped topping. On top layer of whipped topping garnish with strawberries if desired.

For smaller cake cut ingredients in half and use smaller bowl. For pineapple lovers, pineapple may be substituted for strawberries and garnish with pineapple slices.
