VINEGAR WATER FOR CUCUMBERS
1/3 c. + 1 tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. vinegar (cider) 2 c. water Mix together and add onions and cucumbers. Let soak.

1.5 pounds of small cucumbers sliced 1/8 inch thick.
1 medium onion sliced about 3/4 by 3/4 inches square.
Two batches of the above recipe to cover.
Weigh down with large saucer in bowl.
Leave in refrigerator overnight.
This is the BEST cucumber vinegar water ever!
