1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together, drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet - far apart because they spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
