6 tsp. shortening
1 egg, beat lightly
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 tsp. cocoa

Mix all together and drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet or if you have a pastry thing, shape into fingers. Bake about 12 minutes at 350 degrees and fill with filling.

FILLING:

3/4 c. shortening
6 heaping tsp. marshmallow fluff
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together thoroughly. Then the rest is magic.
