SAUSAGE CHEESE MUFFINS 
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1/4 c. green onions, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. corn meal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 egg, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. cheese, grated

Saute sausage, onions and pepper; drain. Combine all ingredients and stir until just moistened. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until brown.
