GHIRARDELLI CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or shortening
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (Ghirardelli)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream together first 5 ingredients (butter through egg) and add remainder. Drop by teaspoon on aluminum foil covered cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Don't overcook. Should not be brown.
