PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH APPLE PIE 
Pastry for 2 crust pie
4 heaping c. thinly sliced tart apples
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Sprinkle sugar and spices over apples. Chip butter size of eggs over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 60 minutes or longer until nicely brown.
