BERRY COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. berries (dewberries, blackberries, blueberries)
2 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk

Put berries, 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in pot. Stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to boil, cut off fire and let sit. Mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk and 1 cup flour together. Stir, but leave lumpy. Drizzle 1/2 stick of butter on bottom of glass baking dish, drain berries and spread across bottom of pan; pour milk, sugar and flour over the top of berries. Do not stir. Drizzle the other 1/2 of butter over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until golden. Serves 6.
