CORN BALL FRITTERS 
1 can cream style corn
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour

Mix all above ingredients to make a very thick batter. Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil or shortening. Corn balls will turn over by themselves to cook thoroughly. When golden brown, remove from grease, drain on paper towel and serve.
