1 lg. can Brooks chili mix 1 can tomato soup 2 sm. cans tomato paste 2 lb. ground beef 1 lg. grated onion Dash of garlic 3-4 hearty shakes of chili powder Dash of salt Pinch of pepper Optional: shredded Mozzarella cheese Brown the ground beef in large Dutch oven, along with grated onion, chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic. Drain burger well and add chili, tomato soup and paste; then fill one of the small paste cans with water and add that to chili. Blend well and simmer on low for 1- 2 hours. The longer the better. Crock pots work well too! Serve piping hot with shredded cheese on top and sour dough rolls. |
