CHOCOLATE-KISS PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES | |
2 2/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. butter 2/3 c. creamy peanut butter, room temperature 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 5 doz. chocolate kisses 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Set aside. 2. In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until well blended. Add 1 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar, beat until light and fluffy. 3. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth. Stir in flour mixture until well combined. 4. Using level tablespoons for each, shape into 5 dozen balls. Roll each in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. 5. Bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven. Press a chocolate kiss on top of cookie. Bake 2 minutes longer. Let cool completely. |
