CHOCOLATE CHIP PIE | |
2 eggs 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. melted butter, cooled 6 oz. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 c. nuts (optional) 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell - store bought premade best Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In large bowl beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar; beat until well blended. Blend in melted butter. Stir in chips and nuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Makes one pie - recipe may be doubled. Bake two pies, freeze one for later. When using frozen pie shell, only use deep dish style - thaw completely, place on cookie sheet, bake a couple minutes longer. |
