PEAR RELISH 
1 lb. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 lb. pears, peeled and chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. powdered mustard
1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 sm. jar diced pimentos

Combine all ingredients except pimento. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce heat and cook slowly 1 hour, stirring often. Add pimento and cook 5 minutes more. Seal in sterile 1/2 pint jars. Makes 3 pints.
