CHOCOLATE POT DE CREME | |
6 oz. bitter sweet chocolate 1 1/2 c. heavy cream 1 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar 6 egg yolks 2 tbsp. Grand Marnier Chop 6 ounce bitter sweet chocolate into small pieces and combine with 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup sugar in double boiler. Heat while stirring until chocolate is melted and well blended (do not boil), remove from heat In a bowl, beat 6 egg yolks, stir in a little of the cream mixture, then slowly stir the yolks into the cream. Add 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier, return to heat and stir until thickened (do not boil). Remove from heat and immediately pour into 6 custard cups. Chill for several hours. |
