FROZEN CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES | |
1 1/2 c. finely crushed chocolate wafers (30 wafers) 6 tbsp. butter, melted 7 oz. jar Kraft marshmallow creme 1/2 tsp. mint extract Few drops green food coloring 3/4 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces 2 c. whipping cream In bowl combine crushed wafers and butter. Press mixture firmly onto a large rectangular pan. In medium mixing bowl beat the marshmallow creme, mint extract and green food coloring with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Fold in 1/2 cup of semi- sweet chocolate pieces. In small mixing bowl whip cream until soft peaks form. Fold into marshmallow creme mixture. Spread over crust in rectangular pan. Sprinkle remaining semi-sweet chocolate pieces over dessert. Cover and freeze 6 hours. At serving time, remove from freezer and let stand for 1 to 15 minutes. |
