POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt

Cook above to 290 degrees or hard crack stage. Add 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar. Pour over 2 quarts of popped popcorn slowly. Make into balls. This is very tasty and not sticky. Can double recipe.
