BROILED PARMESAN POTATOES 
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 med. potatoes, bias sliced about 1/4 inch thick
1/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Stir together butter, basil, paprika, garlic powder and pepper. Place potato slices in single layer on the unheated rack of broiler pan. Brush butter mixture over both sides of potato slices. Broil about 5 inches from heat for 8 to 9 minutes or until potatoes begin to brown. Use spatula to turn potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 4 to 6 minutes more or until potatoes are tender. Makes 4 servings.
