MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter, softened
6 eggs, room temperature
4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and butter; cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in flavoring.

Pour batter into well greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
