PUMPKIN PIE DESSERT 
1 (29 oz) can pumpkin
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts

Beat first 7 ingredients together. Put into 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, no longer. Cool. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.

If pumpkin pie mix with milk and spices in it is used, beat 4 eggs into it. Omit sugar and spices.
