SUGAR COATED POPCORN AND PEANUTS 
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. white Karo
1/3 c. water
1/8 tsp. baking soda
2 c. shelled peanuts
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
4 c. popped corn

Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt and vinegar. Stir until sugar dissolves and cook to light crack stage (270). Remove from heat, add butter and soda. Pour over popcorn and peanuts tossing well.
