CHINESE FOOD 
Mix together in large sauce pan these following four ingredients.

3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook over high heat until thickened. Stir constantly and remove form heat when clear. Add 1/2 cup ketchup, stir in completely.

Cut 1 1/2 pounds of chicken or pork into 3/4 inch cubes and mix with 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 1/2 tablespoon flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 egg. Fry in deep fat until brown. Put one in at a time.

Saute 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sliced carrots, onion for about 1 minute.

Remove excessive oil and put in 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks, the fried chicken/pork and sweet and sour sauce mix thoroughly.
