HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 med. potatoes, cubed
2 lg. carrots, cubed
1 med. onion, cubed
2 celery stalks
1 (No. 303) can peas
Salt
Pepper
1 can tomato soup

Drain peas and save juice. Brown hamburger and onion in skillet until brown. Place layers of vegetables in a greased casserole dish in order given. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Place browned hamburger on top of vegetables. Pour tomato soup and half of pea juice over all. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Serves 4.

Note: Frozen peas may be used - thaw enough so they can be spread. Add a little water with the tomato soup.
