BUTTERBRICKLE BARS (CANDY) 
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter (no butter)
3 tbsp. water

Cook in heavy fry pan - stir constantly until mixture adheres and turns brown. Remove and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Top with 4 Hershey's bars, put squared around and spread when they melt. Top with chopped nuts. Let harden and break into pieces.
