HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 med. potatoes, peeled, boiled & sliced
9 strips bacon
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. celery seed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. vinegar

In a 2 quart casserole dish, cut bacon in small pieces, cover with paper towel. Microwave on High for about 9 minutes, until crisp. With slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towel to drain; set aside. Stir flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper into bacon fat, until smooth. Microwave on High 2 minutes, until bubbly. Add water and vinegar to flour mixture. Microwave on high 6 minutes, until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from microwave and stir smooth. Add potatoes and bacon. Serve warm. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
