FRUIT COFFEE CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 can fruit pie filling (apple, cherry or blueberry)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. One at a time. Mix flour and baking powder and add to cream mixture. Add vanilla. Pour 3/4 batter into greased 9"x13" pan. Spread pie filling evenly over batter. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over filling. Top with crumb topping and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar

Mix with fork until crumbly. While cake is cool, drizzle with icing:

1/2 c. confectionery sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2-3 tsp. milk

Serves 12 to 15.
