BLUEBERRY CAKE WITH BROWN SAUCE 
CAKE:

3 c. blueberries
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. boiling water
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks, then flour; save a bit to flour berries. Fold in beaten egg whites and nutmeg. Flour berries well and stir in. Bake in an Angel cake pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with brown sauce.

BROWN SAUCE: Melt the butter, add flour and salt, stir until smooth. Add the sugar and brown sugar, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add boiling water. Bring to a boil. Add vanilla and serve hot.
