VALENTINE'S DAY GIANT HEART
SHAPED COOKIE
 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 tbsp. water
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
red food coloring (10 to 20 drops at your liking)
1 heart shaped cake pan
cooking spray (Baker's Joy)

Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray you heart shaped cake pan with a non-stick cooking spray.

Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time until well blended. At this time, add in some of the food coloring (food coloring should be added in small increments). Add in vanilla, water and more of the food coloring.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl; stir into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels gently. Keep adding food coloring as need until it reaches a color that suites you. Put batter in cake pan. Pat batter down in the pan with clear wrap or wax paper.

Bake at 375°F for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not overbake.
