STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE 
1 qt. strawberries
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
A few drops of red food coloring
1 baked pie shell
Whipped cream

Crush 1 cup red strawberries; add water and bring to boil, simmer 3 minutes. Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt; add to berries cooking constantly stirring until smooth. Bring to a boil and keep stirring until mixture thickens. Cool and add food coloring. Place the rest of berries in glaze and stir lightly so berries are covered. Pour into pie shell and top with whipped cream. Graham cracker crumb crust can be used.
