CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP 
2 pkg. Mrs. Grass's cream of chicken soup
1 lg. pkg. frozen broccoli
1 med. onion, chopped
7 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
1 qt. milk or half and half
1 tsp. salt
White pepper
Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. sherry; optional

Make chicken soup according to package directions. Make the broccoli according to package directions. Add to soup (including liquid). Add onion and seasonings. Simmer for 1 hour. During that time, melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir with wire whisk until blended. Bring milk almost to boil and add all at once to butter/flour mixture, stirring vigorously until sauce is thickened and smooth. Combine with soup. Reheat and add sherry before serving.
