NOODLE BEEF STROGANOV | |
1 lb. beef sirloin 2 tbsp butter 8 oz mushroom, sliced 2 medium onions, sliced 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 2 tbsp butter 1/2 cup water 1 tsp instant beef bouillon 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp prepared mustard snipped parsley hot cooked noodles Cut beef into strips 1 1/2 x 1/2 inch. Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a 10 inch skillet, add mushrooms, onions and garlic. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender about 8 minutes. Remove vegetables and any liquid from skillet. Cook and stir beef in 2 Tbsp butter until brown about 10 minutes, add water, bouillon, salt, pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer until beef is desired doneness about 15 minutes. Add vegetable mixture. Heat to boiling, stir in sour cream and mustard, heat just until hot. Serve with hot noodles, garnish with parsley. |
