HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. curry powder
1 med. can pears
1 med. can peaches
1 med. can pineapple chunks

Melt butter, add sugar and curry, stir over medium heat until mushy. Drain fruit and slice. Add to the above mixture and serve warm. Can be made in advance, refrigerated and warmed slowly on top of stove.
