HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. curry powder
1 me.d can pears
1 med. can peaches
1 med. can pineapple

Melt butter; add sugar and curry and stir over medium heat until mushy. Drain the fruit and slice. Add to the above mixture and serve warm. Can be made in advance, refrigerated and served cold but best warmed. Good with chicken.
