CARAMEL BROWNIES 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels

Mix cake mix, butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in bowl with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Spread half of mixture in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels and the other 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler. Spread caramel mixture over baked crust. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over caramel. Drop rest of batter by teaspoons over chips. Bake 18 minutes longer at 350 degrees
