MUSHROOM AND SAUSAGE PIE 
1 (10 inch) pie crust
10 oz. frozen chopped spinach
1 lb. Italian sweet sausage (or cheese and garlic sausage)
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. allspice
4 eggs, beaten
1 pt. heavy cream
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated

Cook spinach and drain. Remove sausage from casings, brown and drain. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter until tender. Add sausage and allspice to onions and mushrooms. Layer in pie shell: sausage, then spinach, then cheese. Mix cream and eggs and pour over pie. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 40-45 minutes. Pie is done when knife inserted 1 inch comes out clean. Can be made ahead, covered with foil and reheated.
