AUNT SUE'S ICE CREAM DESSERT 
2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
8 tbsp. butter, melted

Mix and pat into bottom of 9x13 inch pan.

1/2 gal. peppermint ice cream, softened

Spread over crust. (I use mint chocolate chip ice cream.)

2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter

Melt.

Stir the following into the chocolate-butter mixture:

3 well beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans (I omit)
1 tsp. vanilla

Cool slightly.

Beat 3 egg whites until fluffy. Fold into cooled mixture. Spread over frozen ice cream. Put into freezer.
