BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 c. flour or 1/4 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
16 oz. can tomatoes, undrained
10 1/2 oz. can beef broth
2 c. cubed potatoes
4 med. carrots, sliced
3 sm. onions, quartered
1 bay leaf

Put all ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 12 hours. This recipe needs the full cooking time for meat to be tender and for the liquid to become thick.
