LEMON SQUARES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. unsifted flour

TOP LAYER:

6 eggs
3 c. sugar
6 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. real lemon juice

Bottom layer: Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Add flour and mix well. Pat into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until very light brown. Remove from oven.

Top layer: Beat eggs. Add sugar and beat. Add flour, baking powder, and lemon juice, beating after each addition. Pour over crust. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut when cool.
