BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
4-5 lb. spareribs, cut into 2 rib pieces (or quantity sufficient for people)
1/2 c. catsup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. bottled steak sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Hickory smoke salt
1 tsp. instant minced onion

Put ribs on rack in pan. Brown in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn, brown other side for 10-15 minutes. Drain fat. Put ribs in slow cooker. Combine ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover, cook on low 6-8 hours.
