INEXPENSIVE CHICKEN AND NOODLES 
1/2 bag of dumpling noodles or egg noodles
2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup mushrooms (canned or fresh) I used fresh baby Portobellas
salt and pepper

Boil chicken in water until fully cooked. In a separate pot, boil noodles in water until also fully cooked.

In a separate frying pan, sauté onions in oil and add garlic, if desired. Once all ingredients have finished cooking, drain noodles.

Pour 1/2 cup of chicken water into the drained noodles. Drain the rest of the chicken water. Mix chicken with noodles.

Add cream of chicken and mushrooms; stir and add salt and pepper.

My mom always made this and I lovedddd it! My sister makes it and adds peas carrots and green beans...it really is delicious and cost effective - with all ingredients combined, the cost was just 9 dollars!
