CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped (optional)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder or to taste
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, crushed in blender
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain fat. Add seasonings, tomatoes and kidney beans. Cook over low heat 20-30 minutes. Serves 4.
