1 c. white sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. white Karo

Boil 5 minutes. Stir in:

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease cake pan. Put 2 boxes Ritz bits and 2 (6 ounce) packages cashews or sliced almonds. Pour mixture over and stir well. Have oven at 225 degrees and stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
